A Quiet Watch

A tricolor puppy rests its chin and white paws on a weathered tree stump in this watercolor by Good Old Tom. Its soulful eyes meet the viewer beneath soft, dark ears, while gentle washes of green surround the quiet moment. Layered brushwork brings warmth to the rustic bark and softness to the pup's coat, celebrating the patient, watchful sweetness of a young companion.
