Autumn along the Birch River

Birch trees and a river share an autumn setting in this watercolor by Good Old Tom. The water leads the eye through the landscape, while the trees give the composition its woodland character. Soft washes bring together the movement of the current and the quiet of the season, inviting viewers into a peaceful meeting of river and grove.
