Castle Hill Lighthouse, Newport, Rhode Island

Castle Hill Lighthouse stands along the rocky shoreline in Newport, Rhode Island. This watercolor by Good Old Tom captures its sturdy stone tower against an expansive blue sky, with pale, sweeping rock formations leading down to the water. Small patches of green soften the rugged foreground, while gentle washes of coastal blue create a peaceful balance between the enduring beacon and the open sea.
