The Outlet

Water slips between rocks toward a broad lake in this watercolor by Good Old Tom. Green banks frame the flowing channel, while distant hills and an open, cloud-filled sky carry the eye beyond the foreground. Layered washes balance the movement of the stream with the stillness of the wider view, celebrating the quiet connection between sheltered waters and open space.
